Economic Participation Programme - Peterborough
Our Vision
to ensure that the most deprived communities can achieve their full potential and therefore contribute to, and benefit from, sustainable economic growth in the Peterborough area”
The vision will be delivered through 3 Strategic priorities:
- Skills - Transforming life chances through Skills Education and Training
Funds have been invested in giving people the skills, education and training they need to find rewarding jobs. The Programme targeted youngsters who were not in education, employment or training (NEET), lone parents and others and by offering employer led foundation courses in construction and catering to fill a much needed gap in these sectors across the city and provide a pathway to existing higher skills courses.
